What We Want In A Volunteer

 

Working hours: Wednesday, 9.30 am to 1 pm    

                              Friday , 9:30 am to 1 pm

                              Excluding public and school holidays

 

Roles can include: Preparing clients for session, preparing for session (e.g. physical set-up of jumps etc, assisting throughout session), horse leaders and sidewalkers,  horse groomers, assisting with fundraisers and working bees, managerial roles, grazing & feeding horses etc.

 

Ideal personal attributes: Strong people skills, welcoming and happy, communicative, experience with horses          although not absolute, animal friendly, tolerant, respectful. 

 

Age requirement: Must be over the age of 12 years old. Volunteers over 18 years would require a Working With        Children volunteer check and must agree to the possibility of a police check.
